Bewerley Parish Council reject proposals for single unitary council

At their meeting in May, the Parish Council discussed the proposals to create a single unitary authority for North Yorkshire.

The council considered the views presented by North Yorkshire County Council, Harrogate District Council and members of the local community. Your councillors unanimously rejected the proposals to create such an authority and agreed that the chairman should make their views known to all interested parties.
