Bewerley Parish has 9 parish councillors, one district councillor and a clerk. Councillors are elected every 4 years or less if the need arises. You will find the date of the next scheduled elections here.
There is a meeting of the full council on the third Monday of each month (except Aug) at 7.30pm in the Auction Mart meeting room, Bridgehouse Gate, Bewerley. Details of forthcoming meetings are in the calendar.

Grants awarded by the Council
The Council can award grants to local organisations and for community facilities. Grants awarded in the current year can be viewed here.
Anyone interested in applying for a grant should apply to the parish council clerk for application guidelines. The deadline for applications is each year for approval by the council the following .
Greenhow Landscape and Biodiversity Enhancement
Fund
The Fund provides financial support to individuals,
businesses, Parish Councils, local authorities and
community groups for projects intended to enhance the
landscape and biodiversity of the land within and
