Bewerley Grange Chapel is a hidden gem at the heart of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Built by Marmaduke Huby, Abbot of Fountains Abbey 1495-1526, his monogram can still be seen on the east and south walls.

Since the Dissolution of the Monasteries the chapel has served as a dwelling house, a school, a court, a congregational chapel and a joiner's workshop before being restored as a place of worship in 1965. A charming, peaceful building with a lovely aspect.
